Spiced Citrus
Watermelon
Fries
One of my favorite memories while growing up is bonding with family over a bowl of fresh fruit seasoned with South Asian spices. This unique way of enjoying fruits is actually a part of many cultural food habits in different parts of the world. In my household, we always enjoy fruits like oranges, grapefruit, mangoes, guavas, and even pineapple with chili powder, black pepper, and lemon juice. This lead me to experimenting with other fruits like watermelon! It can be surprising how well the spices and tartness from the lime balance out with the natural sweetness of the watermelon. If you are a fan of spices, you will absolutely love these Spices Citrus Watermelon Fries!
